MEET AROSHA AND SHANEL
WOWLife Church Perth was birthed from a story of transformation, resilience, and radical faith. Founded by Pastors Arosha and Shanel Goonawardena, alongside global founders Kirby and Fiona de Lanerolle, the Perth campus carries a strong mandate to awaken, activate, and transform lives through the power of Christ.

The church was established in 2018, after Pastors Arosha and Shanel stepped out in bold obedience to bring the WOWLife vision to Australia. Their journey is rooted in a deep encounter with Christ, Arosha, once a lifelong Buddhist, found a peace in Jesus that “surpasses all understanding.” His remarkable testimony includes a miraculous recovery in 2017 from a coma caused by cancer-related surgical complications, which strengthened the couple’s faith and calling.
Together, Arosha and Shanel were ordained under the Apostolic Diocese of Ceylon and are Appointed Overseers of the Global Apostolic Grace Covering. With this spiritual foundation, they have dedicated themselves to building a church that embodies grace, truth, and the supernatural life found in Christ.
BUILDING THE REFORMED CHURCH OF CHRIST IN AUSTRALIA
Since launching WOWLife Australia, Pastors Arosha and Shanel have raised and equipped leaders nationwide who are carrying the shared mission of reforming the Church of Christ bringing believers back to identity, grace, and the life beyond the natural realms demonstrated by Jesus.
COMMUNITY AND PURPOSE
Beyond ministry, Arosha works in the State Government, and Shanel works in Community Development giving them a unique understanding of people, culture, and the needs of the wider community.
As parents of four, they lead with authenticity, compassion, and a passion to see families, communities, and cities transformed by the love and power of God.

As a community, we are committed to creating a safe and supportive environment to nurture and feed:

Sundays at 4 pm 61 Alexander Road, Rivervale (at Elevate Church) Meet Our Amazing Team: Dee and Vinh Phu After faithfully serving their local church for over 12 years, Dee and Vinh felt God calling them into a new season of growth in Christ. Through WOWLife International, they met Shanel and Arosha at a gathering in Melbourne. A few years later, they made the bold decision to leave everything behind and move to Perth with their four young children to embark on this new chapter. Vinh now runs his own structural engineering company, while Dee teaches at a classical Christian microschool, where their two youngest children attend. Together, they are passionate about building the church, supporting the mission and vision of WOWLife Australia, and laying strong foundations for future generations to come to know Christ.
